Who: Carole Anzovin. Welcome to the musings of a highly educated, white, middle-aged, cisgender woman, living life as best I can while navigating chronic illness and sensory processing sensitivity, working alongside people that I love to navigate the neurotypical/neurodivergent divide, centering my polyamorous relationship orientation and queerness, and putting my energy into bringing harmony, peace, and joy to the people I care about.
Where: Western Massachusetts! I live with my two partners, my child, and our cat. I feel very connected to the landscape, the culture, and our local food and agriculture here.
What: I’m into reading, gardening, birds, herbs, photography (all of the images on this site are mine, unless otherwise credited), cooking, loom knitting, baking, personal growth, relationships, writing prose and poetry–and all of my activities are shaped and limited by my chronic pain. I am deeply dedicated to living joyfully and fully despite my challenges, finding beauty and pleasure through my senses and reflecting deeply on the world around us. This site rounds up all the facets of my quest to live vividly–through poetry, prose, and photography. I do hope it brings you a little brightness.
