Replace an Old Habit

Is there something you’ve been meaning to give up? Some old habit you want to change? Let’s dust that good intention off, and swap in a healthier habit! The key is to make the new substitution just as much fun or more fun than that old behavior. Don’t abstain, replace! This challenge offers a chance to exercise self-discipline, practice self-compassion, and make something better in your life.

Habit:

Did my new habit instead of the old!

Did the old habit, but was kind to myself.

To Do:

Choose an old habit to change. (No shame or blame if you’ve been meaning to do this for months or years! Today is a new day. Now is the perfect time to begin.)

Brainstorm a healthy new habit to take its place! (Something enjoyable! Make your new habit its own reward as best you can!)

Reflection:

It was great to see everyone working so hard to make positive change in their lives in the guild this month. Totally heartwarming!
