While reconstructing my medical history for some paperwork I’m filling out, I realized that it has officially been twenty years since I started the long, painful, often frustrating journey of having a chronic health condition.

I’ve learned a lot. I’ve grown a lot. And there are doctors I’m thankful for, and others who were basically useless. (That’s life for ya.) But I can’t say that I have any particular observations to offer upon reaching this milestone, except that wow. I’ve been dealing with this crap for more than half my life now.

I’m proud of whatever help I’m able to give my fellow members of this chronic illness club through my leadership in the Living Vividly Guild on Habitica. (Over three years of running monthly challenges now!)

But that’s all I’ve got to say for now… have to stop typing because my neck hurts.
