My heart is the place that I call home.
When I wander from it, I look to my compass:
Passion and joy point the path of my return.
I am happy to be bound there.
Some choose to make their homes in other hearts than theirs;
Trade pieces of themselves to each other,
Build together lest anyone take flight.
I am happy to be bound to my Self,
Tethered and free in equal measure.
The wind streams through my hair,
Caressing each cheek with chill,
And I can hear the whole world whisper to me:
Return to the center; you are already whole.
Come home again, into your heart.

This is beautiful and touches my heart.
Happy to hear that. 🙂
