Air and Inspiration
Last month’s challenge was an exploration of the first of the four elements: Earth. Our second element is Air. Air is the element of mind: creativity, inspiration, focus, memory and thought. When all is well in the air-oriented parts of your life, you are open to new ideas, in touch with your own creativity, and able to think clearly and focus. This month’s challenge offers a chance to explore aspects of your life as they relate to the mental realm.
Habit:
Seek out new ideas
Daily:
Go outside and breathe deep
To Do:
Memorize a speech or poem or learn the lyrics of a song
Exercise your creativity!
Reflection:
This challenge was fun for me, and not too hard. I found many new ideas watching Kurzgesagt videos and Minute Earth videos on YouTube. I memorized the lyrics to Odessa’s Hummed Low. And I took many necessary walks in the open air. It’s always nice to have a reminder to exercise my mind, and I periodically turn to reading nonfiction for similar reasons. All of the gorgeous June flowers gave me ample reasons to breathe deep!
