Activity boost

I’ve been trying to get more active now that the weather is nicer and cold season has finally left me. More walks, trying to bump my PT exercises back up to 5x a week instead of 4… (That’s been a challenge just because my schedule is busy, but I’m working on it.)

Yesterday, I was walking a mile or two into town to catch a bus to walk another mile or two down King street to the new location of my dentist’s office. Just as I was approaching the end of my street (about half an hour into my walk) I thought… what if I just walked the whole way there? So, with a generous use of the Norwottuck Rail Trail, I did. It took me about an hour and a half total, and my step count for the day was six miles.

This morning after I dropped my daughter off at school, I took the extra-long way home. I feel like I’m finally gaining some momentum! Also, I took some pretty keen pictures while I was out there. White crabapple, lovely lilacs, and some pink dogwood blossoms. I particularly love the sun shining through the apple petals.

Well, off to my PT workout! May you have the energy you need to start gaining a little momentum in your life.
