Spring in the Herb Garden

I’m so pleased to see everything waking up in the garden today. Some self-sown annuals, like German chamomile and violas, have found themselves hospitable niches in my patch of earth. And some are perennials, bursting up from quickening roots that have slept in the soil: peppermint, anise hyssop, lungwort. Click to enlarge, should the spirit move you.
