Follow Your Heart

This month is a time for reflection, a chance to listen to the stirrings of your heart and the small voice of your intuition. Mind and body are linked so intimately that learning to understand your feelings is a vital piece of health and a great boon to your growing resilience. Slow down, listen deep, make space to get to know the inner workings of your tumultuous heart. This challenge offers a chance to get in touch with your feelings and learn about your internal states.

Assess your state of mind
Follow your intuition

Daily:
Name your feelings

To Do:
Write about how you feel (this can be a useful tool when you’re having intense emotions and doesn’t have to be complex; sometimes even a simple list of adjectives that describe how you’re feeling can help you work through the state that grips you)
Post to the Guild (share a note about your experiences with intuition or feelings this month)

Reflection:
We had a lot of Guild posts in November! I could tell that this challenge sparked a deep interest for some of our community members. Personally, I enjoyed the chance to assess my emotional states more deliberately than usual; sometimes I was surprised by my own feelings when I stopped to tease apart the layers of what was going on in my head. The surface of things was not always the sum of things.
