As of today, my Living Vividly guild on Habitica has 152 members. I like feeling like I have something to offer beyond the scope of those I interact with in my regular life. (Those of you in the scope of my regular life know what I have to offer you.)

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my life’s purpose in the past few weeks. One part of it is to strive to experience life deeply, with careful attention and mindfulness, exploring what it is to be human: embodied, mortal, alive in this world, possessed of the powers and frailties we all share, subject to the pains and pleasures of the senses, the dance of emotion, the capabilities of mind.

Another part of my purpose is to coax others into doing the same. Sometimes through sharing my perceptions through writing, art, poetry, photography. Sometimes through running challenges on the internet. Wherever I can, however I can. Let me take your hand.
