Haiku A Day, Week 4

22
Memory and love
bonds transmuted over time
like water, flowing

23
Somber silver sky
telegraphs our day ending
sun sinking at four

24
Bare branches drip rain
water falls from silhouettes
black before the fog

25
Cleaning up the yard
goodbye grill, hello shovel
tomorrow brings snow

26
With ten cold fingers,
tucked snug in my bed, I wait:
fat white snowflakes fall

27
Achievement wiped clean,
every morning I begin:
set the house to rights.
