I joined a haiku-a-day challenge on Habit for the month of November! Just to get warmed up, here are two I wrote earlier this fall and posted on Ello, and the last one is from All Hallow’s Eve (aka yesterday).
I.
a hidden bird cries
exhorting the laggard dawn
amid golding leaves
II. Thirst for Beauty
Gold is drifting down
fluttering in cool breezes
parched, I drink it in
III.
Weathered gray gravestones
beneath a weathered slate sky
bronze and brown leaves fall
More to follow, probably weekly. Enjoy!
